What is the Cash App?

What is Cash App Sending Limit?
If you are an unverified user, the Cash App sending limit is $250 per week.
If you are a verified user, so have added your phone number to the account, the Cash App sending limit is $7,500 per week! This can be increased to $10,000 if you have completed the bank linking process. To do this follows these instructions.
Log in to Cash App account. Click on Settings. Click on Cash Card or Bank Account. Click to be redirected to a page that says Continue to bank login. Once here, log into your bank's website and enter the information it asks you for until you get a message that says "We see your bank account".
This is where your bank will verify your account's information, so it can be linked to the Cash App. Note this may take a few days!
How much can you receive using Cash App?
Sending limits tend to be most people's main concern; however, it's important to know what the receiving limit is. For those who are new to Square, you can currently receive $1,000 within a month.
If you are a verified user, you can receive unlimited money or there is no limit for receiving money by a verified user.
If you do plan on receiving an unusually high amount of money using Square Cash, it's best to verify your account beforehand by adding your phone number and selfie! This helps protect you and Square from fraud and other illegal activities.
Cash App also offers the Cash Pickup feature, where they will give you money at a physical location. Be sure to check if your bank is supported by this feature!
How does Cash App work?
Cash App is very simple to use. To get started, download the app (both available on iOS and Android). To send money, enter in the amount you want to send along with the phone number of the person you are sending it to.
You will then be prompted for what you would like to use for the payment (debit card or bank account). Once you have selected this, a four-number code is sent to your recipient. They will validate this and then the money is sent!
To receive money, simply enter in your phone number and a five-digit PIN along with whether it's for Cash Pickup or not. For those who want to pick up their money at a physical location, you can then set one up in the settings section of the app!
Who is a verified user?
To become a verified user, you will need to add your phone number and photo ID. Luckily, Square Cash makes it easy for you to do this by giving you step-by-step instructions!
Log in to the Cash App. Click on Settings .You will see a button that says Verify Account and a place for your ID. Take a picture of your ID and upload it there, as well as enter your phone number!
It is important to note that it takes about 3 business days for your account to be verified.
What documents are needed for verification?

Note: Cash App will only support the following banks for linking at this time: Ally, American Express, Bank of America, Capital One, Charles Schwab Bank, Citibank, Fifth Third Bank, First Tennessee Bank National Association, Frost bank, Golden 1 Credit Union, Huntington National Bank/First Merit, Key Bank, M&T Bank, People's United Bank, PNC Bank, Regions Bank, SunTrust Bank and USAA.
How to send money using Cash App?
Log in to your Cash App. Click on the dollar sign button that says $. Enter the amount you wish to send and click next. You can then add a note or a memo if you want, this is optional! Click Review before sending your money. If you change your mind, click Cancel and the transaction will not go through.
If you are ready to send it, click Send Money. This will bring you to a page for Cash Pickup! Enter the last 4 digits of the person's phone number that you wish to send money to, then select an amount and click on Request
Note: If they have not used this feature before, they will need to go through the Cash Pickup process. Be sure they know the last 4 digits of their cell phone number!
