Vivid Music at Central Station and Tumbalong Nights

The arrival of Vivid not only promises a treat to the visual senses but also for our auditory senses. Some of the top Aussie musicians as well as some of the upcoming local superstars take the stage at Tumbalong Park at night to present thrilling performances. The best part? They are absolutely free! Right in the heart of the Light Walk, popular artists such as Haiku Hands, Mildlife, and others will splash the stage with rhythm from every Wednesday to Saturday. Somewhere else, the longest Light Walk in the festival history leads up to Central Station, where a wide range of artists gather every Saturday to bless the ears of Sydneysiders. Dance to the RnB and Soul tunes of The Vivid Sydney Brass band, groove to the bluegrass sounds of The Morrisons, and listen to the gypsy tunes of Lolo Lovina.

Vivid Kids

Vivid Sydney tells the story of the city’s creativity through art forms, music programs, and brilliant discussions. The festival has a broad audience, meaning it’s not just for adults. The little ones will also get their chance to dance, every Saturday from 5-6pm, at Tumbalong Park. As part of their special Vivid Kids program, the park will light up with a stage for free, sing along to the tunes of The Vegetable Plot, and dance to the beats of the ARIA award-winning Teeny Tiny Stevies.
