Ghazi-ud-din, the vizir, is said to have constructed this town in 1740 and named it Ghaziuddinnagar after himself. After the railway line was completed, the city's name was changed to Ghaziabad.

6. Shri Adya Katyayini Shaktipeetam

The Shree Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Katyayani (an avatar of lord Parvathi). 10. Hasanpur Lake

The Meerut Divisional Commissioner travelled to Hasanpur with DM and visited the lake after learning of the demand made in the Hasanpur village of the Dhaulana tehsil region to develop and beautify Hasanpur Lake, which is located on roughly 40 hectares of land.

 

Longtime residents of Hasanpur Lodha village have been demanding the preservation and development of a lake with a natural lake-like shape on around 35 acres of property in the forest.
