In the most recent Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program draw, which began on August 25, 2022, Saskatchewan, Canada, issued 629 invitations to apply for provincial nomination to immigration candidates enlisted in the category of International Skilled Worker.

The province has sent these invitations to the OID and express entry subcategories of the ISW.

Express Entry for SINP

The SINP International Skilled Worker Category features an Express Entry Sub-Category for skilled workers who are in the Express Entry candidate pool kept by Citizenship and  Canada ImmigrationThe Saskatchewan PNP program has a number of requirements that must be met by a potential immigrant.  To be qualified, candidates must:

 

 

Receive an Express Entry profile number and a job seeker validation code after being approved into the IRCC's Express Entry Pool.

  1. Earn at least 60 points on the Saskatchewan INP point evaluation scale out of a possible 100.
  2. Cite accurate language test results from a reputable testing company. The results must match what was specified in the Express Entry profile.
  3. Have at least one year of post-secondary education, experience, or training that is comparable to the educational system in Canada. The competitor ought to have procured a diploma or a certificate, indegree during this time.
  4. Have professional experience in a highly-skilled, in-demand occupation that is classified as NOC o, A, or B.
  5. Have a settlement strategy and proof of the settlement money that will be paid.

In-Demand Jobs in SINP

There is a subcategory in the PNP Saskatchewan Skilled Worker category for skilled workers who are highly skilled in a profession that is in demand but does not currently have a job offer in the province. An applicant cannot apply for this SINP stream unless they meet a number of requirements. These requirements include:

  1. Their Occupation must be listed in SINP Latest Draw NOC List
  2. Earn at least 60 points out of a possible 100 under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.
  3. Have at least a CLB 4 in one of the official languages of Canada.
  4. Have at least one year of post-secondary education, training, or experience equivalent to the educational system in Canada. The candidate must have earned certification, certificate, or degree during this time period.
  5. Have worked in the past ten years for at least a year;
  6. Have a settlement plan and proof of the payments to be made
