Five Unique Attractions in Sydney Right Now
Sydney has a plethora of attractions that will appeal to both tourists and locals– lunch cruises, karting, Sydney Tower Eye and much more!

Let’s be honest, getting bored in a city like Sydney is a rare experience. It’s no secret that this capital city of New South Wales (NSW) is home to some of the most amazing landmarks and natural wonders which everyone comes back to see time and time again. From hiking the rugged terrain of the Blue Mountains to catching waves at the many beaches, the harbour city of Australia has no shortage of fun things to do. Here is a snapshot of some of the best things to do and see in Sydney.

Sydney Harbour Cruise Lunch

If there’s one must-do activity that is ideal for both tourists as well as residents, it is traversing the harbour waters on a lunch cruise. Unwind with your favourite group or catch up with an old friend or even go on a romantic date on these popular vessels. First-time visitors can enjoy soaking in some of the best views of the city including its vast city skyline and few landmark attractions. Choose your pick from top-class vessels including the modern catamaran, the authentic paddlewheeler and a premium glass boat! Relish mouth-watering food and drinks as you gently cruise past some big names such as the iconic Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Fort Denison and much more. The harbour cruise lunch also offers you numerous photo opportunities so get your cameras ready at all times to get those Instagram-worthy shots!

Barista Lessons

If there’s one thing Sydneysiders take seriously, it’s coffee. There are endless coffee shops in and around the city from where you can order a cappuccino, latte, long black and many other coffee variations. But have you ever gone a step forward and wondered what the difference between each one of them is? Or, have you had a knack of learning how to make a good cup of Australian coffee? There are more than a dozen spots offering Barista classes to let you learn the basics of Aussie coffee making. Some of these classes are quite intense and include a workshop but will get you ready to become a professional while others lean more towards teaching you the basics.

Sydney Tower Eye

Sydney Tower Eye is an absolute must-visit, especially if you're stepping foot in the city for the first time. The tallest building in Sydney and the second tallest in the Southern Hemisphere, the Tower Eye, offers you everything from breathtaking views, rotating bars to 4D cinema experience. But the one that catches the eye for most visitors is the skywalking experience, which translates to you stepping outside and walking on an outdoor walkway, almost twice as high as the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Karting in Eastern Creek

You’re probably tired of the ol’ go-karting but what if you could take it to a whole new level by hopping in a pro 13hp kart and racing across the city’s prominent racing tracks. These custom-built beasts of the racing course can reach top speeds of over 100km/h at Eastern Creek’s Karting Park. So channel your inner Capeta, buckle up and  kick it in high gears for an exhilarating racing experience! There are also karting experiences for children and parents in lighter or child double karts.

Pylon Lookout (Sydney Harbour Bridge)

This is one of the most underrated attractions both on this list and in Sydney. This not-so-well-known lookout on the south-eastern Pylon of The Bridge offers unparalleled views of the harbour and the city, and houses a fun and educational museum, ideal for families. It is also very easy to get here, just follow the pedestrian walkway and keep an eye out for a rather unusual entry sign and door.
