Use the internet troubleshooting tool available to you once you are logged in to your Spectrum account either way. In both cases, when you sign in, you can check your device’s status or reset it online. You need to go to ‘My Account’ and click the ‘Services’ tab. Next is to tap on the Equipment tab and select the ‘Experience issues’ option available in front of the device you want to reset.
If you have a Spectrum Router and need to factory reset it, simply press and hold the router's reset button for about 10 seconds. You will notice that the router’s status lights flicker and the device restarts. This will generate the Spectrum Router default password along with the username. Besides, all the previous configuration of the router will be erased. As such, you will need to reconfigure the router all over again.
