We really remember that life is not completely a bed of roses and it is not going to be the only cakewalk in all the things that you proceed with. When you have 50% of happiness you have to really expect 50% of bad things as well. The same is the case and the vice versa applies.
Whenever we are not confident in a decision, we believe that it is going to be a good one or it is going to be a bad one. This kind of stance or the chances that we need to make in our mind before we concretely take solutions and coin toss we call it a 50-50 proposition. This is the ultimate concept taught in mathematics called probability and we have ignored it in our schools and in the colleges to deal with it.
