Helping Hungry Children
Thrive Global was founded by three moms. When these expats arrived in Bangladesh in 2012, they saw a city full of hungry children and knew they had to do something. They asked the schools in the urban slums what they needed most, and the resounding response was food.
The moms replied with a promise of a banana to 250 children that has grown into the delivery of more than 12,000 nutritious meals a week to school children in Bangladesh and the Philippines.
While Thrive began as an expat start-up, it’s growth springs from the generous commitment of local and international supporters.
