On 2018 Nov 6, Thalapathy VIJAY starer SARKAR was released. This movie was a political satire drama which was directed by A.R. Murugadoss. Eventhough the movie got mixed reviews among the audience, the movie shattered all existing records in BOX-OFFICE. SARKAR has the benchmark of TN Opening DAY 1 COLLECTION of 32CR which is still unbeaten.
The movie was a full-fledged political drama which was pointing out the other face of politics and politicians. This movie was totally pointing out the current TN Government AIADMK.
