Because it does not come from the Camellia sinensis plant, herbal tea is not officially a genuine tea (i.e. the plant that is used to create black, oolong, green, and white teas). Herbal tea, on the other hand, is an infusion or blend of leaves, fruits, bark, roots, or flowers from nearly any edible, non-tea plant.

 

Flavonoids protect cells from harm. Herbal Tea is better for you than water, according to team leader Dr Carrie Ruxton, a Public Health Nutritionist, because water only rehydrates you. Tea replenishes your hydration while also providing antioxidants. There are two advantages to drinking tea.
