Bromine Market

Breathing bromine gas may cause you to cough, have difficulty breathing, develop a headache, irritate your mucous membranes (inside your mouth, nose, etc.), become dizzy, or have watery eyes.

Bromine liquid or gas on the skin can cause irritation and burns. When liquid bromine comes into contact with your skin, it may cause a cooling sensation followed by a burning sensation.

Swallowing bromine-containing compounds (combinations of bromine and other chemicals) might result in a variety of effects depending on the compound. Swallowing a considerable amount of bromine in a short period of time is likely to result in nausea and vomiting (gastrointestinal symptoms).
