    Wireline Services Market
            Wireline logging, or well logging as it is more widely known, is the term used to describe wireline applications that measure the features and qualities of Wireline Services and properties. In wireline logging, sensors are lowered into boreholes on a cable rig to collect data using a variety of techniques, including acoustic wave measurements and electromagnetic measurements. Brothers Conrad and Marcel Schlumberger invented the method of performing surveys to identify geological and mineral formations in the 1920s. In 1927, a "well log" was conducted at the Pechelbronn Oil Company oil field in France as their first-ever electrical survey.
