This article is about the Advantages of 321 Stainless Steel Pipes

With a higher overall corrosion resistance, austenitic stainless steel with titanium settling is known as stainless steel 321 (SS321). When precipitating chromium carbide at temperatures between 800 and 1500 degrees F (426 and 416 degrees C), it exhibits remarkable intergranular corrosion resistance.

321 Stainless Steel Pipe has higher creep and stress rupture qualities than SS 304 and 304L, and it retains oxidation up to 1500 degrees F (816 degrees C). Additionally, it keeps up its good low-temperature durability.

The stainless steel 321H version of SS 321 has a higher carbon content (0.04-0.10). It was created to increase strength at temperatures above 1000 degrees Fahrenheit and improve creep resistance (537 degrees C). The carbon content of the plate typically allows for dual certification.

Applications 321 Stainless Steel Pipes

  • Exhaust stacks and manifolds for aircraft piston engines
  • Joints for expansion
  • Oxidizers in the heat
  • Refinery Machinery
  • Equipment for chemical processes at high temperatures
  • Storage and equipment for food processing
