The best time to do Mohare Danda Trek is from March to April- spring, and October to November- autumn. These two seasons are considered perfect for trekking to Mohare Danda because of stable weather and a pleasant climate. The temperature remains moderate with clear views and bright sunny days. You will feel a little cold in the mornings and nights. Likewise, in spring, the trail blooms up with numerous floras, and autumn has its festive scent to it.
Monsoon and winter are the off-seasons. The trail gets muddy and slippery, along with high chances of landslides in the monsoon. Likewise in winter, thick layers of fog block the views, and heavy snowfall increases the chances of blockage of the trail.

Mohare Danda is located southwest of the Annapurna Conservation Area and starts from the town called Galeshwor, Myagdi district, Dhaulagiri zone 3 Kilometers from Beni. After 4 to 5 hours of drive from Pokhara (86km), you can join the trail that leads to the top of the Mohare Danda after crossing the Kaligandaki River, through the typical village; Banskharka, Dora Danda, Danda Ketari, Banwade, Nagi then downhill to the wilderness trail to the Danda Kharka, Pyari Barahi Tal, Thula Kharka, Tikot, Histan get drive from Tiplyang. Normally, this trek can complete in 5 Days from Pokhara as the shortest, however, the trip can extend to the Khopra Ridge Trek via the most popular Poon Hill Trek or make it longer up to the Annapurna Base Camp.
