It permits talented foreign employees from both inside and outside of Canada to work and live in Ontario.

Read on to learn more about the list of high-demand occupations in Ontario, as well as the application process.

Key Points: PNP Occupation in Demand in Ontario

• The Express Entry draw is held at regular intervals throughout the year and provides work chances in both conventional and popular sectors such as nursing, business management, ICT, administrative services, finance, and so on.

• Because Ontario is a hub of sectors such as finance, technology, manufacturing, hospitality, and healthcare, it is regarded the fastest way of immigration.

 • This means that people from diverse job profiles may apply for work possibilities and secure a successful career.

In-Demand Occupation in Ontario

• Ontario has a wealth of natural resources and industries, but it lacks the workforce needed to maximise resource utilisation, manufacture ready-to-use things for customers from these resources and raw materials, and fill vacancies in the ICT, healthcare, and service industries.

• This stream provides excellent chances for immigrants seeking a bright future and a long-term career in Canada.

• Employers in Ontario hire applicants directly through the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program's selection procedure (OINP).

• Selected applicants get a nomination certificate from the province of Ontario, allowing them to apply for the Canadian Permanent Residency lottery.

• Please note that the authorities conduct the draw at regular intervals.

Application Procedure for Ontario PNP

• To obtain a Notification of Interest (NOI) from the province of Ontario, candidates must first construct a legitimate profile in the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry system.

• Later, applicants can apply online to be recommended for Permanent Residence by the Ontario government. Candidates who meet the qualifying requirements can apply at any time during the year.

Immigration applications are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Candidates should be aware that this stream has an annual quota.

Once the quota in Ontario is fulfilled, the authorities will shut admission until next year.

Candidates obtain this information through their e-Filing Portal One-Key account.

  • The Express Entry System Score is used by Ontario to identify skilled workers and employees.
  • Please keep in mind that the selection score is 'decided by the director,' and applicants who score at least 400 on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) earn a Nomination of Interest (NOI) and are eligible to come to Ontario under the immigration programme.
  • Employers can use the OINP's direct selection method.
  • Because the direct selection procedure minimises processing time, OINP is regarded as the quickest option of immigration.
  • After getting the NOI, candidates have 45 days to apply for a Canada Permanent Resident (PR) Visa.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) System has been implemented in the province of Ontario for the following streams:

•Foreign Worker Stream

• Employment Job offer

 • Masters Graduate stream

• Ph. D (Doctor of Philosophy) Graduate stream

In Demand Skills Stream to register for the EOI system, you must first complete the following steps:

• Read the applicants requirements for your stream

• Register an EOI for one or more streams in the OINP e-filing portal

• Create a profile in the OINP e-filing site it is not a guarantee that you will be invited if you register.

OINP will rate applications in one or more of the OINP streams from time to time, either on a general or target basis, and the highest ranking candidates will be selected.

Immigration aspirants can check their eligibility with the Ontario point’s calculator.

Key Aspects of OINP

Ontario also provides applicants with a work permit, which allows them to work while their permanent residency application is being processed.

Foreign trained professionals can apply for a temporary work permit under the skilled worker categories.

Furthermore, no Labour Market Impact Assessment is required for temporary work permits (a support letter issued by a Canadian employer).

After six months, PNP or OINP applicants in Ontario can apply for Permanent Residency.

Candidates must fill out and submit a permanent residency application on paper, as well as send an email to the appropriate application centre.

In 2022, what will the job market look like in Ontario?

The number of employment in the information and technology sector has increased dramatically in Ontario.

It signifies that international experts with significant work experience and academic qualifications have a decent probability of finding work in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) business in this Canadian province.

The OINP process also resulted in the selection of a large number of applicants interested in working in Ontario's Information and Technology (IT) industry.

Following this trend, the government of Ontario is looking at the Express Entry pool for ICT profiles as part of its Express Entry-aligned Human Capital Priorities stream.

Candidates in the IT field have a decent opportunity of securing jobs and carving a prosperous career in Canada because it is a high-demand vocation.
