Listening about the demand
Maybe you will make a design for your client or any purpose. The first important thing you need to do is, listen to the demand. If you don't hear about this thing, then there is a huge change to you will make such a type of thing that is not suitable for you. So, you should know about its demand.
Using experience
The thing you are going to design, you should have the experience to use the system before unless you can find a similar system and use that at once. It will make you more competent to find the proper design. In most cases, people are not doing such type of thing. But it's a huge tip.
Regular updated and study
In most cases, once people can learn something, they do not agree to keep them updated. This is why they cannot know what new thing comes to the market. But I do this thing, which is one of my secrets behind success. I hope you will follow this too.
