Personalized medicine is a new approach in Digital Genome to disease treatment and prevention that takes into account each person's individual variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle. Congenica, a provider of diagnostic decision support platforms, announced in September 2018 an agreement with Digital China Health Technologies Cooperation Limited (DCHealth) to launch a Digital Genome medicine in the Chinese market. Congenica will develop a version of its Sapientia platform for Chinese healthcare professionals and patients to benefit from clinical genomics and personalized medicine as part of this collaboration. DCHealth will use its extensive commercial network and experience in the Chinese hospital to help speed up the commercialization of this locally adapted version of Sapientia.
