Disposable Infusion Extension Lines Market
Saline, glucose, and insulin are administered to the body using a disposable infusion extension line. The cannula, a thin plastic tube put beneath the skin in the subcutaneous fat, is inserted with a needle. To install the disposable infusion extension lines, this needle must be inserted into the skin. The needle is removed after insertion, leaving the thin plastic tube, or cannula, in place. Disposable infusion extension sets come in two different shapes: angled and straight. Straight sets are implanted perpendicularly at a 90-degree angle, while angled sets are put at a 30-degree angle beneath the skin.
