If your doctor prescribes tadalafil, keep these considerations in mind.

Do not cut your tadalafil tablets. You should take the whole dose.
storage
Store tadalafil at room temperature from 59°F to 86°F (15°C to 30°C).
Keep the drug away from high temperatures.
Do not store this medicine in a damp or humid place, such as the bathroom.
travel
When traveling with medications:
Always have your medication with you. Do not put it in your checked luggage while flying. Put it in your carry-on bag.
Don't worry about airport X-ray machines. They will not harm your medication.
You may need to show the pharmacy label for your medication to airport staff. Always carry an original container with a prescription label.
Do not leave this medicine in the glove box or in the car. Be sure to avoid this when the weather is very hot or very cold.
Clinical monitoring
Your doctor may perform a blood test before prescribing tadalafil. These tests will check how well your liver and kidneys are working. If your test results are abnormal, or if you have liver or kidney disease, your doctor may change your prescription. Your doctor may start you on a lower dose of tadalafil, reduce the number of times you take it, or not prescribe it at all.
If you are taking tadalafil for BPH, your doctor may check and perform a blood test called prostate-specific antigen (PSA). This is because the symptoms of BPH and prostate cancer can be similar. These tests will help ensure that you do not have prostate cancer before starting tadalafil.

The drug is not available in every pharmacy. When filling out a prescription, be sure to call ahead to make sure your pharmacy has a prescription.
