Dental Composite Fillings
Dental Composite Fillings
Dental composites are cement made of synthetic resins that mimic tooth structure. They are insoluble and surprisingly inexpensive. They have several advantages over other restorative materials. They have a natural tooth-like look, are durable, and are easily manipulated. In addition, they are relatively easy to maintain, which makes them ideal for many situations. But what exactly are composite fillings? Let's look at each one in more detail.

The process of placing a composite filling is quite simple. First, the dentist will make a mould of the tooth. Then they will apply a thin layer of composite material to the affected tooth. Next, the dentist will shape it and polish it until it resembles a natural tooth. Once the material has been placed in the tooth, a special light will cure it. Afterwards, the dentist will polish the completed restoration to make it look natural.
