Life is not predominantly easy; we make it through hard work and perseverance. Not often do we come across stories of common people fighting all odds of life and taking a huge leap to the galleries of success. Anurag Mishra is one of the few people who fight challenges to the best of their ability without getting bowed down by their intensity. He was born with immune deficiency, faced brain stroke and nervous breakdown, and was almost knocked out by depression in his teenage years but didn’t let any of these stop him from achieving his dreams. He is now a writer, chef, food Vlogger, and Josh Talks speaker.

Inception Of Journey
Born in Madhya Pradesh, Anurag’s family had six members with his father being a government servant and mother, a housewife. He was born with a weak immune system that, quite presumably, attracted a lot of problems ever since his birth. The place where he lived had a collective mindset of offering kids only two options after 12th standard, either Medical or Engineering. Therefore, without having any interest, he started coaching for CLAT but failed miserably.
Challenges On The Door
Failure is always heart-breaking, and Anurag suffered immense mental pressure and decided to take a one year break from studies. But as life would have it, this break turned out to be more worrisome than relieving since he suffered a brain stroke and nervous breakdown during this period. Times were tough, and moments of hope were nowhere to be seen and so his mental surroundings were unable to find positive sentiments. In this dark situation, it was his family who helped him rejuvenate and became a source of motivation. Every day saw the environment of the house was turning into more and more friendly. That brought positive results, and soon he was ready to leave for Delhi University to complete his graduation.

Medical Ghost
The energy with which he came to Delhi was overwhelming and he was excited for this stage of his life but again a knock on the door was heard. It was the pollution in Delhi’s air that grappled Anurag’s already weak immune system and he couldn’t cope up with it. Many health issues started coming up which led to another mental fiasco and this time depression came with suicidal thoughts. He was again down, thinking about finishing his life but one more time his family supported him.His will power came into action, and he started coming back to normal life. Medical assistance helped him survive the Delhi pollution and finally, he was back to a positive state of mind.

The Beginning Of Career
After completing his graduation in History (honours), the fighting guy found a real interest in writing which he had never taken seriously. Soon, he completed the book “Struggle of a star and a beautiful love story” in English and received a positive response from all around. He went on to write his first Hindi book “Safalta tay hai”, which dealt with motivation, soon after. Later, he also started a YouTube channel, “Rishi ki Rasoi”, on his own that catered to his interest in cooking. The channel stores more than 200 videos and is loved wholeheartedly by people. He also delivered a motivational speech in Josh Talks, a platform that shares stories of commoners, which was liked by people across the country. A guy who was punched in the neck by Life, got up, healed himself and gave it back at the right time and in the most convincing manner.
His Role Model
Apart from his family, a person who inspires him the most is Sandeep Maheshwari. That itself talks of the motivation, inspiration, and positivity he stores. At the end of the day, it was his will power, apart from all other factors, that kept him going even in tough times. For Anurag, challenges are still there but he also stores the strength to face and overcome them.

Conclusion
We, at times, give a lot of importance to the setbacks of life rather than the remedies that we can achieve through will power, determination, and perseverance. Coming from a society that doesn’t place depression and other mental health issues at the forefront, his way was tough and full of spikes. Creative fields weren’t the taste of his hometown; it was all about some selected career choices. The story of Anurag Mishra tells us that even if your challenges include medical aspects, you can always stand tall and fight them. He used exercise as his weapon, positivity as his shield and found the required strength in the family. Every challenge he faced was given a tough competition with his diverse bundle of weaponry and finally, he came out as a winner who won the battle and heart, both.
