Avoid These Fruits During Pregnancy

A proper diet and pregnancy yoga can provide you with the greatest support during pregnancy days. Fruits are good for health but not all the time. There are certain fruits which you must avoid during the pregnancy period. Some of these fruits are as follows: 

 

  • Pineapple

It is found that eating pineapple can contract the uterus which can lead to miscarriage. Eating pineapple can lead to early labour as well. Apple, however, is a great fruit for pregnancy and can provide you with enough nutrients that your body much needed during the pregnancy period. 

 

  • Papayas

Papayas are probably the best food for stomach health, but not for a pregnant woman. The reason to avoid papayas during pregnancy is that they can increase the temperature of your body which can lead to bleeding and contractions. 

 

  • Bananas

Eating bananas is safe during the pregnancy period, however, here are some cases in which it should be avoided. If you are allergic to chitinase protein or diabetic, you should not consume bananas at all costs. 

 

  • Watermelon

Eating watermelon is fine during pregnancy but must be consumed in limited quantity. There are two reasons why watermelon should not be eaten in excess during the pregnancy period:

  1. It is a Cold Fruit

  2. It has Diuretic Properties
