From hot to glossy to gorgeous texture, length looks dominated the news this week.  Lily Collins and Cindy Crawford favor lustrous brunettes (plus full bangs and summer sun skin),  Tiffany Thompson, Barbie Ferreira and Camila Morrone, on the other hand, opted for the most popular personalised shades of 2022: warm, varied apricot and deep red.  While Ryan Dourtney showed off the fluffiness and movement of her braids, Kim Kardashian went for a smoother route, with her sleek peroxide Bob harmonizing with Anna Wintour's signature cut.

But mane aside, an appreciation of the body is also a theme of our social events this week -- and in an age when our physical autonomy is being stripped away, it's more important than ever to continue celebrating our identity on a mental, emotional and physical level.  For two simple examples, look at Lizzo, who struck a powerful pose in a gray bra and panties, and Tommy Dorfman, who also adopted a similar nude style, designed in her own way.

Being stuck at home during multiple lockdowns has, for many of us, completely changed the idea of "nesting" at will.  Years of late repairs, unwise carpet purchases and annoying paint colors have all forced an unprecedented interest in domestic renovations large and small.  Even seemingly innocuous items like cleaning products are coming under new scrutiny -- a point diptik hasn't lost sight of.  "At this moment, it makes a lot of sense," said Eduardo Valadez, the marketing director of the popular French perfume brand from online beauty products store.  The beauty brand has just launched its first home care product line, La Droguerie.  In fact, like the candlestick you spent weeks searching the Internet for, this five-piece set is exactly what you didn't know you needed at home.

Imagine, if you will, your choice of your favorite Diptyque candle - Bais, fruit-flower lover, or Feau de Bois, if you prefer the forest type and the sense of beauty;  That's how I felt when I recently sprayed the brand's new multifaceted cleaner for the first time, a lavender, cedar and FIG tree blend of multipurpose cleansers that, with vinegar, is effective in de-oiling and de-sticking walls, countertops, tiles and fresh-keeping drawers.  The orange flower-like dishwashing liquid is equally exciting (yes, exciting), providing a frothy effect with a subtle fragrance while also being a discreet design object.  Cleaning supplies in a repeatable filling of amber glass bottles, joined the leather and wood care wax polishing liquid, reusable elliptic, cedar wood and lavender fragrance can be hung on the clothes of wool and fine, and the smell of a clever absorption of candles, with fresh basil, mint and chopped tomato leaf instead of the smell of hate.

Valadez goes on to stress sustainability: "These products work, they smell good, they're good for you."  Valadez's preference for Ecocert certified ingredients, biodegradable formulations and $28 recyclable refels could make deciding who does the dishes a lot less contentious.
