Here are some tried-and-true important tips for passing the CDS Exam and joining the professional uniformed services:

  • You will have an overview of subjects as well as the exact CDS exam pattern, which will be useful in your next CDS attempt.

  • Every day you must go through the Current Affairs (focusing mainly on Defence topics).

  • Remember that the number of hours here includes all types of preparation. Not only just go through the topics but you should also practice a few CDS Online Mock Tests.

  • Large numerical problems should be avoided and limit yourself to basic information and thorough conceptual analysis. Formulae, on the other hand, are all extremely important.

  • Once a topic is completed, keep sets of copies of all preparatory notes in a separate location. If you believe you have worked hard, give yourself some free time every six days.

  • To cover the essentials, use NCERT books as a reference. Remember not to overburden yourself. Maintain your interest.
