The Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) is a state-level exam to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers at primary and upper primary levels. It is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE).  

The HPTET Examination is organized by HPBSE for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) in Non-Medical, Arts, Medical, L. T, Shastri, JBT, Urdu and Punjabi subjects.

Candidates who pass the HP TET exam can apply to government schools for teaching jobs in Himachal Pradesh.
