Davao Medical School Foundation was founded in July 1976 in order to address the lack of doctors in rural areas and specialists in the urban sector.

Davao Medical School Foundation was founded in July 1976 in order to address the lack of doctors in rural areas and specialists in the urban sector. It is the Philippine College of Medicine, the first such college in Mindanao, and is dedicated to providing the highest level of medical education to ensure effective medical care in rural and urban communities.


Candidates, including current academics, are required to file income tax returns from their parents for the two immediately preceding years, as well as the last BIR statement on assets and liabilities. Students can take out scholarship loans and switch to any medical school without prior permission. The student can be refunded the total value of the loan and will receive interest in the sense of 4B.


Students of SC / SEBC category 40 (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) can enroll at Emilio Aguinaldo College of Medicine. Candidates must be accepted by the College Admission and Enrolment Committee. In order to be accepted into the first class, candidates must study subjects that have nothing to do with medical studies (e.g.

C students are required to participate in all school events, including NKVs and programs in which they are required to participate.
