If your car is still new, you can also get a Paint Protection Film in Calgary to prevent discoloration and scratches on your new car. This comes with an entire scratch remover kit. Here’s how you use it:
Step 1: Wash Your Car
Remove the dust and dirt with a regular Car Wash. The car needs to be clean before you apply any polish or wax to it.
Step 2: Use Car Polish on the Scratches
You need a polishing compound and apply it with a pad or microfibre cloth in even, circular motions. Buff the area back and forth till the scratch is gone.
Step 3: Wipe the Polish with a Dry Cloth
Use a clean and soft cloth to wipe off any excess polish left on the car. If you see any scratches again, repeat steps 2 and 3.
Step 4: Wash it Again
Wait for a while to let the polish set on the car. Then, wash it with clean water and wipe it again.
Step 5: Auto Waxing
Check the instructions on the polishing compound container and wait accordingly to apply wax to the car.
