A gear reducer is a device that has two interlocking gears. One gear is driven by an input force, such as a motor, while the other provides torque, which is a rotational force.

A gear reducer is a mechanism that transfers the energy output of a high-speed engine or motor to another mechanical component. This power transfer is accomplished by reducing the rotational speed while maintaining a higher torque. This also improves mechanical safety by reducing the speed of the rotating device. The number of gears utilized in the gear reduction assembly is mostly determined by the output speed and the application requirements.

A permanent magnet is used by a magnetic gear reducer to transfer torque from the input shaft to the output shaft. This torque transfer occurs without any mechanical contact. The gear works more smoothly since there is no contact between the two rotors.
