Operation
Working of Butterfly is very simple. The disc of the valve is directly connected to the actuator through the middle piping which is directly connected to the handle. The motion of the flow depends on the motion of the handle. Generally in the closed valve the disc is perpendicular to the flow of the media and when the handle is moved to 90 degrees so does the disc which becomes parallel to the flow, granting the flow to pass through the valve.
