Here are the pay scales of several employed and retired individuals according to the 7th pay commission.

To bring the change in the salary structure of central government employees, the Government of India set up the Pay Commission. It received its independence to review and recommend changes for the paying curriculum of all civil and military servants of the Government of India because the seven pay commissions have been in India.

 

After execution of the 7th pay commission in the state of Uttar Pradesh, all the state government employees will get benefited. The new seventh pay commission in Uttar Pradesh will not only change a few allowances but also hike their salaries and other service benefits. 

A total of 21 lakh government employees are there in Uttar Pradesh who will be beneficial to this new pay commission. Here are some highlights of seventh pay commission in terms of pay scale changes for the various job posts.

Pay Scale for Associate Professor

The pay scale for Associate Professor will change with the implementation of the 7th pay commission from 1st January 2017. Associate Professors are eagerly waiting for the 7th Pay Commission to be implemented at the beginning of 2017, as it will bring a big change to their pay scale. 

 

Theretofore, the Associate Professor’s grade pay was Rs.8,900 per month, and their salary slab was between Rs.37,400 to Rs.67,000. If the 7th Pay Commission is applied, the salary slab of Assistant Professors would be between Rs.1 lakh to Rs.2 lakh, and their grade pay will be Rs.27,000 per month. The reports tell that a total figure of 52 lakh pensioners and about 47 lakh Assistant Professors will benefit from this plan.

Pay Scale for Bank Officers

According to the highlights of seventh pay commission, the pay scale for each employee is different as it depends on their post and designation. A bank manager draws a monthly salary of Rs.45,000. On the other hand, an ordinary bank clerk draws a basic monthly salary of Rs.11,765.

Pay Scale for Probationary Officer

Nowadays, apart from the Dearness Allowance of Rs.12,781 and the House Rent Allowance of Rs.1,087, a probationary officer draws a base salary of Rs.14,500 per month. After calculating this, the total earnings gained by a Probationary Officer is Rs.28,368 per month.

Pay Scale for BPCL Employees

BPCL, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, is an oil refining and distributing company owned by India. BPCL built the two large refineries in Mumbai and Kochi and was specified among the world’s great corporations on the fortune global 500 in 2016. BPCL employees get paid according to their posts and contribution. 

 

The pay scales in the 7th pay commission for an executive who is the most inferior in rank and order can range from Rs.24,900 to Rs.50,500 per month. It is a handsome amount for the last level in management, and the Managing Director draws about Rs.80,000 to Rs.1.25 lakhs per month.

Pay scale for Border Security Force (BSF)

The 7th pay commission will be implemented for BSF personnel, too. Currently, the pay scale for BSF is according to the 6th Pay Commission. From BSF constables to Assistant Sub Inspectors, all employees under BSF get paid as per pay band 1. 

The salary scale in pay band one ranges from Rs.5,200 to Rs.20,200 per month, and the grade pay ranges from Rs.1,800 to Rs.2,800 per month.

Pay Scale for BSNL Employees

BSNL employees get their wages according to their position and designation. The number of years in the service also matters. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is one of the top telecommunications companies in India, hiring millions of employees across the country.

Unfortunately, if the 7th pay commission gets implemented, BSNL employees will not benefit from it because they flat-out to increase the salary of their employees. However, they have increased their House Rent Allowance by 10% to 20%, depending on the work of the area.

Pay Scale for Commercial Clerks or Superintendents

There are corrections made for the employees working in the Indian Railways under the 7th Pay Commission. According to the 6th pay commission, the pay scale for Commercial Superintendents was Rs. 6,500 to Rs.10,500 per month, and the pay scale for commercial clerks was Rs.6,500 per month. 

 

According to the pay scales in the 7th pay commission, a senior commercial clerk will get around Rs.4,000 to Rs.6,000. Nevertheless, Commercial Clerks will get Rs.9,300 per month, Commercial Superintendents will get Rs.9,300 to Rs.34,800 per month, and Senior Commercial Clerks will get anywhere between Rs.5,200 to Rs.20,200 per month under the 7th pay commission.

Conclusion

The Government of India established the idea of a pay commission, and it recommends changing the salary structure of central government employees. Millions of government workers have been waiting for the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission because it will help them increase their salaries, allowances and many other benefits. 

 

The implementation of the current 7th Pay Commission was to get executed in January 2016; however, it had been delayed.

 

After implementing this pay commission, the government employees employed under the Uttar Pradesh state government and the retired employees will experience a hike in their salary structure, pension structure and other allowances. The main work of this pay commission committee is to examine the financial and economic constraints on the state’s economy after the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission in Uttar Pradesh.
