If you’ve accidentally sent money to the wrong person, you can reverse the payment in Cash App by contacting the recipient. However, Cash App cannot reveal the sender’s identity. You can only provide minimal contact details and let the recipient decide what to do with the money. If you can’t contact the recipient, you have one last option — you can dispute Cash App transaction.
· The first step is to access the past transactions tab on your phone.
· Find the payment you wish to cancel and click the three-dot icon.
· After you’ve done this, tap the “Refund” button. The refund will take a couple of days to process.
· You can also request a refund from Cash App within seven days. However, you must submit the request before the seven-day window has closed. This process may take several days and require you to provide proof of your identity.
