Vancouver-based influencer marketing platform ShopandShout has a new board member and strategic advisor, Canadian entrepreneur Manjit Minhas. ShopandShout, co-founded by Vinod Varma, is a digital ecosystem for influencers to reach brands for sponsorships and opportunities, and vice-versa.
Influencer marketing continues to dominate the marketing landscape and is projected to become a $15 Billion dollar industry. For influencers, finding paid/unpaid partnerships can be both challenging and competitive. ShopandShout allows influencers to choose who they want to work with, allowing them to grow their targeted audience and create authentic content.

Manjit Minhas is a well-known Canadian entrepreneur, Petroleum Engineering student-turned beer baroness, and is a well-known investor on CBC’s hit show Dragons’ Den for the past 6 seasons. She co-owns Spotlight TV, a Film Production company, and co-owns Minhas Breweries, Distilleries and Wineries. Manjit leads a privately owned empire that had revenues in excess of $210 million, in 2019. She has won several prestigious business industry awards such as Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs in Canada and more.
