Checklist for fire rated doors installed on projects
We thought of preparing a checklist for fire rated doors installed on projects:
1️⃣ Do the installed doors carry labels from an approved third-party certification body showing fire rating of the door? (Please check sample photo attached)
2️⃣ Are the manufacturer's labels provided? (Please check sample photo attached)
3️⃣ Are they civil defense-approved door sets?
4️⃣ Are proper intumescent components and seals used as per the fire test carried out?
Proactive care prevents loss of life and ensures safety of the property. We should all work towards a NO COMPROMISE attitude with respect to life and safety in buildings.
