Versus Socks is the brainchild of two former Stellenbosch, South Africa, students who both have a deep passion for sports, namely Hanno Lategan and Jurgens Uys.
During a bicycle ride in 2013, the topic of socks came up mid-conversation. It sparked the idea of Versus Socks as they quickly realised there’s a gap in the market for comfortable, durable and outright good looking socks.
With both partners always on the lookout for exciting business opportunities, they quickly started drafting on their future plans. From there designs were put on the table, reliable local manufacturers were Cycling Short Socks pinpointed and Versus Socks came to life.
