How standard filter bag works
The standard dust bag accumulates on the outside of the bag and creates what is known as a filter cake. Filter cakes actually do filtering while cloth bags only act as support for cakes. When bags pulsed most of the release of filter cake and the buildup of dust began again.
But from time to time, some dust is embedded in the bag fiber. Finally, the bag will be fully connected and need to be replaced.
Add PTFE to filter bag
Conversely, when PTFE is added to the bag it acts as a filter cake. Generally known as Teflon. PTFE is used in many different applications of cookware to outerwear and more. When the PTFE membrane is laminated to the media bag filter, it can improve the performance of filter bags and dust collection systems.
How to work PTFE membranes
Let's take a closer look at how the PTFE membrane works. If we enlarge the PTFE membrane we can see that it is actually made of small microscopic holes like Swiss cheese. The holes are large enough to allow air molecules and steam to pass but small enough to inhibit even the smallest dust particles from passing.
Because the membrane keeping dust on the surface of the particle bag is never embedded in fiber bags and bags will not fail to connect. Usually the ptfe aus membrane bag before they install. Usually lasts twice during a standard bag.
The benefits of PTFE's membrane
With double the expensive and deadly age of plants cut into half reducing maintenance costs and increasing plant production. Because the bag gradually does not connect to time, the PTFE bag provides additional benefits to provide a more consistent or suction air flow from your dust collection system.
Because of small pores, PTFE membrane bags are up to eight times more efficient than standard filter bags. This means that it can cut the emission of dust collectors to 800 percent.
Additional advantages of PTFE membranes
Another advantage of the PTFE membrane bag is that they are easier to clean because of the slick surface. This means fewer pulsed bags. Which also means less wear on bags and diaphragms and solenoid valves. This also means the system uses compressed air which does not cause reduced energy costs.
It can also improve performance when a higher moisture level or sticky dust is present. High flow filter and PTFE Membrane can be added to any bag media and can replace standard pockets and almost all applications. Although there are costs to add membranes, additional costs easily pay for themselves. It gives a longer life, reducing maintenance costs, reduced wear, and lower emissions.
