Itinerary

Day 01:Arrive in Kathmandu 1,300m

Today when you arrive at Kathmandu Airport our Himalayan Frozen Adventure representative team will be waiting for you at Terminal Hall with display a Himalayan Frozen Adventure and your group name signboard outside the airport terminal. After meeting our team transfer to hotel, where you will introduce your trekking guide and he/she give some information about trekking. In the evening, you can explore the beautiful Thamel market.

Day 02:Full day Kathmandu City Sightseeing

Our tour guide comes to pick up at the hotel and we start our sightseeing tour at world heritage sites of Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, and historical places. After the visit, you’ll drive back to the Hotel and let ready for trekking.

Day 03:Kathmandu to flight Lukla 35 minutes and trek to Phakding 2,610m/4 hrs

You Transfer from Hotel to the domestic airport and we start a scenic 35 minutes flight to Lukla (gateway of Everest region). Upon landing Lukla, you can meet some crew members and the trail descend through colourful forest to small Sherpa settlement Choplung, then you’ll walk along the Dudh Koshi valley and climb to beautiful village Ghat. From Ghat, the trail ascent stone steeps to reach Phakding, where you stay.

Day 04:Phakding to trek Namche Bazaar 3,440m/5 to 6 hrs

Leaving Phakding behind, you pass a colourful pine forest and walk along the Dudh Koshi River, then crosses the many suspension bridges with traditional villages of Chimoa, Monjo and Jorsole. During the trek, you can see amazing Mount Thamserku (6618 m) and exciting natural landscapes. Likewise, the trek leads you bank of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi Rivers, then cross a high Tenzing- Hilary suspension bridge with enjoying magical peaks of Mount Everest 8,848m, Nuptse, and Lhotse. Finally, the trail descends through the lush forest to reach Namche Bazar, where you stay overnight.

Day 05:Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar 3,440m

This day is your first acclimatization day of the trek, for make your body fitness for high altitude and health experts. Today not only for rest, but you can also visit around the beautiful market of Namche Bazar. Your guide takes you to the hill of Sagarmatha National park, where you can explore the wonderful flora and fauna. Then walk rocky steep to biggest traditional Sherpa village Khumjung with enjoying the famous peaks of Mt Everest, Thamserku, Khaantaiga, Ama Dablam, etc. There is one mesmerize viewpoint Everest View Hotel if wanna go then please talk your guide in the morning. Day 06:Namche to trek Tengboche 3,860m/6 to 7 hrs

After having breakfast, trekking heads toward Tengboche. Leaving Namche Bazaar, the trek goes on moderately flat and offers excited views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and nearest Thamserku with Khangtaiga mountains. Then you continue walking through the wide range valley of flora and fauna, then drop down to River and cross a suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi River, likewise, the trail ascent through the pine with juniper forests to reach Tengboche, where you can take side tour at the oldest Gomba and Monastery with seeing wonderful views of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Mt. Day 07:Tengboche to trek Dingboche 4,410m/6 to 7 hrs

We start trek to Dingboche, the trail follows the small villages, Mani stone walls, nun monastery, and Chortens, then cross a suspension bridge over Imja Khola (River) and you climb to Pangboche with seeing fantastic valley landscapes and beautiful Ama Dablam peak. Likewise, you walk through the Imja valley, terraced field, stone wall, and small Sherpa settlements before reaching Dingboche, where you stay overnight at trekking lodge.

Day 08:Dingboche to trek Chhukung 4,730m/3 to 4 hrs

The trail leaves Dingboche and goes through the alpine landscape with stone-walled. You can feel excited to walk on awesome Imja valley as well as get incredible Lhotse and Ama Dablam views, then walk on yak fields of Bibre. From Bibre, you go to a side valley of the most famous trekking peak, Island peak 6189m, you see step rock and-icy south face of Island peak. The trail follows icy streams with the cross peaceful area before reach Chhukung. After having some food at Chhukung, you have a great opportunity to hike Chhukung Ri 5546m, it offers stunning views of Lhotse, Island Peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, and many other peaks. Then the trail descends to Chhukung. Overnight you stay at Chhukung lodge.

Day 09:Rest and acclimatization day in Chhukung 4,730m

Acclimatization in Chhukung is the second rest day of this trekking, this day is to make more strong your body to crosses high altitude. After having breakfast you explore around Chhukung for impressive views and enjoy with the massive Island Peak (6189 m). The guide leads you through the base camp of Island Peak and along the Lhotse glacier, where you get to see close views of the Amphu Lapcha and Ama Dablam, then the trail descends Chhukung. Overnight you stay at the same lodge.

Day 10:Chhukung to trek Kongma La 5,535m to Lobuche 4,910m/9 hrs

Today you are going to cross the first and highest pass of this trek, Kongma La 5,535m. Take it in mind, you have to carry enough water and some snacks because there you can’t found any teahouse. Leaving Chhukung behind, the trail goes on the remote valley and absolute nature, then you walk through the Nuptse Glacier, where you get awesome Island peak valley with a jagged ridge of Amphu Lapcha. Likewise, the trail climb an east side of Niyang Khola valley then follows the sloppy stony trial before reach to small frozen lakes zone, and you climb to Kongma La. Upon reaching Kongma La, it offers wonderful landscapes with prayer flags and beautiful peaks. Finally, the trail descends through the icy lakes and Khumbu Glacier, then you reach Lobuche for stay overnight.

Day 11:Lobuche to trek Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp 5,364m and back to Gorak Shep 5,160m/9 hrs

Leaving Lobuche behind, the trail goes on a rocky path with enjoying the excited views of Mount Everest, Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse, etc. You walk continues along-side of massif Khumbu Glacier to Gorakshep, where you have breakfast and check overnight lodge because Gorakshep is last lodge of this trek as well as here you can found fewer lodges. You leave Gorakshep and walk on rocky steeps to reach the base camp of Mount Everest, which is surrounded by magnification peaks of Everest range and huge glacier with icefalls. After exploring the delightful base camp, the trail descends to Gorakshep, where you stay overnight.

Day 12:Gorak Shep to trek Kala Pathar 5,550m and back to Dzonglha 4,830m/7 to 8 hrs

Wake up early morning and you start hike rocky stone steeps one of the most popular viewpoints Kala Patthar. From Kala Patthar, you see an amazing sunrise over the Everest and 360 degrees dramatic nearest peaks of Mt. Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Khumbutse, Changtse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Ama Dablam and many other. There you enjoy exciting landscapes and the trail dropping down Gorakshep. After Lunch at Gorakshep, you walk through the alpine zone, wide gravelly river, and Cho La Lake with enjoying the Ama Dablam, Kangtega, and Thamserku. Finally, the trail ascent to a spur then drops down to another broad basin before reach Dzonglha, where you stay overnight at Dzonglha lodge.

Day 13:Dzonglha to trek Cho La 5,420m back to Thangnak to Gokyo 4,800m/9 to 10 hrs

You continue trekking enjoying stunning views of the snow-capped mountains. The trail is going to be steep and rugged from time to time. You reach the top of Cho La Pass from where you can see the mesmerizing surrounding scenery and magical Everest valleys. Then the trail descends to Thangnak. Further, you walk along the edge of Ngozumpa glacier and pass by Gokyo Lakes to reach Gokyo village. Where you stay overnight at Gokyo lodge.

Day 14:Rest and explore Gokyo Ri 5,360m/3 hrs

Wake up early morning and you climb to Gokyo Ri (5,360m) about a 2 hour for enjoying a glorious sunrise over the mountain and Panorama views of Everest range. Gokyo Ri is really wow!! you’ll get most of the joy from the top. You can also see Cho-Yu base camp and world biggest Ngazumpa Glacier, as well as the spectacular views of mountains surrounding us, are Cho Oyu (8,153m), Gyangchung Kang (7,922m), Lhotse (8,501m), Makalu (8,463m), Cholatse (6,440 m), Taweche (6,542m), Kantega (6,685m), Thamserku (6,808m), Lobuche (6,145m) and Mt Everest (8,848m). Finally, you return back to Gokyo and one more visit the beautiful lakes. Overnight you stay at Gokyo lodge.

Day 15:Gokyo to trek Renjo La 5,345m to Marlung 4,210m/8 to 9 hrs

Today, you are going to the third and last pass, Renjo La Pass. The day again begins early, and you trek alongside Dudh Pokhari. You trek and descend towards the pass from where you can see fantastic views of the Himalayas. Leaving the past behind, you descend on a stone staircase and reach the south bank of Angladumba Tsho Lake. The trail then further descends through a narrow valley filled with giant boulders to Lumde. From here, you walk for an hour and reach Marlung situated on the east bank of the Bhote Koshi River.

Day 16:Marlung to trek Namche Bazzar 3,440m/6 to 7 hrs

From Marlung, the trail moves towards Thame. You follow a route used by the Tibetan traders back in the days. Crossing Bhote Koshi River, you descend and reach Taranga. From here, the trail drops down through small villages and reaches Namche Bazar. Where you stay overnight at trekking lodge.

Day 17:Namche to trek Lukla 2,845m/5 to 6 hrs

After having breakfast at Namche, you will descend to Hillary Suspension Bridge and cross through the beautiful Sherpa village. After reaching the Lukla, there you can explore and relax at the final village of Everest, where you stay overnight at trekking lodge.

Day 18:Lukla to flight Kathmandu 1,300m/ 35 minutes

Today, you fly back to Kathmandu after having breakfast. During the flight, you get to see views of the Himalayan Mountains. Upon reaching Kathmandu airport, head to your hotel and freshen up. You are free to explore the market and buy souvenirs to take back with you. Later in the evening, you visit a restaurant to have a farewell dinner organized by the company.
