Whether it's Madden, NHL, FIFA, MLB the Show, or any other major sporting league video game, the publication of each athlete's ratings always stirs up heated debates. When you publicly rank each player in a particular game with NBA 2K MT, then it's natural to see a few teary fanboys, scorned rivals, and opinions of snubbery.
The athletes themselves even speak out on occasion about their ratings in order to bring the debate to a higher level. Durant did this last week, as did an old teammate from Klay Thompson. Both seemed unhappy with their current scores to be honest to say the least.It's my belief that game designers use this technique on purpose. They put out ratings that are controversial enough to stir the pot without harming the integrity of the game. In doing so, they encourage discussion about their latest game in hope that more people are drawn to it.

Regardless of their motives and intentions, the NBA 2K team released its newest game with its player ratings attached to it this week. It includes all Brooklyn players on the 2022-23 roster. As one would expect, some of their ratings for players seemed to be a little off-base, or even disrespectful.
