React Native Becomes the Fastest-Emerging IT Skill: Naukri Pulse IT Report

These insights are based on the hiring pattern of more than one lakh recruiters on the Naukri.com (a popular job portal) platform between July and September and outlined the top-100 skills that IT recruiters look for.

The pandemic has pushed all of us to adopt a digital way of life from ordering online groceries to working remotely from home. Almost every industry has undergone a digital transformation to ensure its survival in this crisis. This has led to the increased demand for IT professionals.

Naukri.com recently unveiled the Naukri Pulse IT skills report that captures the top 100 skills that recruiters are looking for. According to this report, professionals with expertise in programs such as Kubernetes, React Native and Redux have become fast-emerging choices for recruiters worldwide.

Read some crucial highlights of the report-

Kubernetes technology has jumped 53 ranks up to 32 in a year, while React Native has jumped 59 ranks and Redux 40 ranks to stand at 42 and 66, respectively.

Java continues to be the most popular choice for recruiters in the IT sector followed by AngularJS, JavaScript, .Net, and ReactJS.

Proficiency in skills like Kafka, Azure, Hadoop, Magento, AWS, Node.js and Docker are other tech stacks that are also helping job seekers gain a competitive edge. These are also listed among the top-100 IT skills in demand.

Other much-needed skills by IT include Typescript, GCP, Servicenow, Ansible, Spark, Architecture, Scala, Laravel, and PostgreSQL.
If we see the area-wise demand of IT skills, Java, AngularJS, and ReactJS demand is high in Delhi-NCR, AWS and Node.js are among the most in-demand IT skills in Bengaluru. Python is a popular IT skill after Java and JavaScript in Mumbai.
