Paratyphoid fevers
Typhoid fever is due to the spread of Salmonella Typhi from one infected patient to the other. For treating this type of fever, the first and foremost step taken by any medical practitioner is to prescribe a widal lab test or blood culture for determining the presence of the bacteria in a patient’s blood.
