Allulose Market
In the 1940s, Allulose was discovered for the first time in wheat leaves. Since then, it has been discovered in trace amounts in other fruits, such as figs and raisins, as well as in maple syrup.
It is a great substitute for people with type 2 diabetes or those at risk for the disease since, unlike conventional sugar (sucrose), it has no effect on blood glucose or insulin levels. It is also almost calorie-free, containing only 10% of the calories in sugar, making it an excellent weight-management aid.
