Wheat, rice, and edible oils have seen an increase in demand as a result of increased household consumption and aggregation towards the organised Personal Care Packaging. Due to the fear of stepping out and item scarcity, there was a temporary shift in consumer behaviour during the lockdown, resulting in bulk buying and hoarding. Given their operational constraints, the food and personal hygiene industries' offers were overly centred on large packaging. However, as the economy gradually opened up and the supply chain was restored, demand has returned to normalcy since July 2020. Rapid economic growth in India, combined with rising disposable wealth, has resulted in a shift in Indian lifestyle habits. It resulted in increased use of personal care goods, which fueled the expansion of the Indian personal care packaging.
