STRAIGHT FROM MARC JACOB’S STAR-STUDDED NUPTIALS
From the renowned names of the fashion world to the cult-favourite pop culture fraternity − Kaia Gerber, Naomi Campbell, Kate and Lila Moss, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Chloë Sevigny, Emily Ratajkowski − the guest list was a royalty. Had to be, it was Marc Jacob’s wedding after all! How could it be any less than a fashion week?
With a plethora of celebs were the myriad trends we couldn’t take our eyes off − from inspiring styles of pantsuit to whimsical feathers − this fashion-savvy spring wedding had it all. Let’s explore the most talked-about getups to take our notes for the coming functions.
The buzz-making power pantsuit, just a little more tailored this time, worn by Kaia Gerber
The young model reinforced Lady Gaga’s 80’s style pantsuit while she stepped out in an oversized tan coloured suit with padded shoulders. Her look had the right balance of black to cut the monotone with her jet black corset gracefully teamed with classy-strappy sandals and a chic shoulder bag. The cherry on the cake was her soft-gold accessories that perfectly complemented her neutral butter makeup.
A softer take on pant-suits, by Hadid sisters
Both models were all smiles while they were twinning in super elegant pantsuits at the nuptials. Bella Hadid inspired us with her all-black ensemble, striking-gold hoops by Via Fede and fishnet heels, whereas, Gigi's outfit had a soft reflection of the cowboy look in her fedora and olive green suit with a sheer sparkly top, special mention to the Youssef Lahlou’s hat. We’re definitely taking notes from the sisters for their perfect casual yet formal look!
Dripping gold gown, worn by Emily Ratajkowski
The model and actress wore a dazzling Saks Potts‘ yellow satin dress paired with Jennifer Fisher’s hoop earrings and gold clutch. Emily looked no less than a goddess who just stepped out from a pond of the molten sun! That messy updo and coral makeup undoubtedly added to the whole look. It’s one perfect look for a romantic dinner night.
Because capes never went out of fashion, worn by Naomi Campbell
SS19 might have been a little off the radar with capes but the supermodel reckons the trend and how! She arrived wearing a bejewelled black cape outfit by Balmain and sported a dewy face with soft curls and chunks of shiny bracelets and rings that give a final touch to her sparkling look.
Raging shimmer, donned by the mother-daughter duo – Kate Moss and Lila Grace Moss Hack
The duo went effortlessly chic for this wedding where the supermodel mom chose a conservative avatar of shimmer in her mauve gown with velvet embellishments and Lila pulled an all-glamorous look with her glittery-golden dress having knot details, a comfy pair of platforms and straight-sleek hair.
Dramatic feathers, of course! Graced by Erica Jayne
The reality star paid homage to the designer by wearing a striking blue and green puffy dress with a super cute hairdo; that icy blue detailing of heels and gloves just added to the drama and made this a noteworthy look. We loved how gracefully she has carried such voluminous feather-y dress with that ease, she looks like a splash of gorgeousness!
