Vancomycin Test
Vancomycin is an antibiotic drug used to treat severe infections caused by a particular type of bacterium – Gram-positive. Vancomycin test measures the concentration of vancomycin in the blood. Initially, this test was prescribed when either organism was found to be resistant to penicillin or when the patient was allergic to penicillin.
