Generally, most Nursing Home and some Private Hospitals require you to inform them of the Funeral Director of Choice so that after the Doctor has issued the Medical Cause Certificate they will contact the funeral director on your behalf. Therefore, if your loved one is currently or soon to be living in a Nursing Home it is prudent to have some funeral pre-arrangements in place.
