Amniotic Membrane Market

A thin membrane on the inside of the foetal placenta called the amniotic membrane (AM) or amnion entirely encloses the embryo and defines the amniotic cavity, which is stuffed with amniotic fluid. The amnion's structure and function have recently been studied, with a focus on the AM cells' pluripotent characteristics, which make them a desirable source for tissue transplantation. Along with anti-angiogenic and pro-apoptotic properties, AM also exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and immunological properties. The use of Amniotic Membrane, a tissue that promotes epithelialization and is not tumorigenic, is morally acceptable. Due to its appealing qualities, AM has been used in a number of surgical operations involving, among other things, the head and neck, skin, genito-urinary tract, and rebuilding of the ocular surface.
