Biopesticides Pose Less Risk Than Synthetic Pesticides Used Today
Biopesticides are employed in environmentally friendly insect control, managing plant diseases, treating seeds, and amending soil.

Biopesticides are used to describe an organic insecticide that is produced utilising elements that are found in nature, such as plants, microorganisms, and biochemicals. Some of the most widely used biopesticide products include bioherbicides, bioinsecticides, and biofungicides. They are typically sprayed through foliar spray or injected directly into the soil for the treatment of crops and help control the growth of weeds, pests, and insects on crops.

Biopesticides are naturally less harmful than the synthetic pesticides that are commonly used today, offer long-term or permanent pest control, and are very effective even when administered in little amounts. Biopesticides come from organic sources such plants, bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Biochemical pesticides, microbiological pesticides, and plant-incorporated protectants are the three main categories of biopesticides (PIPs).
