To achieve energy-efficient HVAC Equipment in buildings, the designs of their many integrated mechanical and electrical components must be improved. More efficient HVAC systems will result in significant electricity savings in buildings. This is noteworthy when you consider that buildings consume more than 40% of total power usage in many affluent countries. The Special Issue on energy efficient HVAC systems is available to all contributors working in the field of building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
