Disconnect all cables connected to the computer. Plug in the modem's power adapter and check the LED indicator to make sure the modem is turned on. Connect the Netgear Nighthawk R7400 AC2600 Smart Wi-Fi router to the modem. Plug the router into the wall outlet and turn it on.
