Flexible Battery may be made in a variety of forms and sizes, as well as by a variety of processes. One method is to utilise polymer binders to make composite electrodes with conductive additives to improve their conductivity. Flexible substrates can be printed or coated with electrode materials. To preserve bendability, the cells are integrated into flexible packaging materials. Filtering electrode suspension through filters to generate free-standing films is another option, as is using a flexible matrix to store electrode materials. Other designs, such as cable batteries, are also available.
