Diazepam is a medication that belongs to the benzodiazepine family that typically produces a calming effect.

The medication of Valium is available in strengths of 2 mg, 5 mg, or 10 mg. The dosage of Valium is safe according to the doctor's prescription for maximum beneficial effect.

There are three conditions in which the dosage is given accordingly:-
